Athena Capital Partners, Inc. Announces Walter A. Baldwin, III "Trey"Joins Athena's Advisory Board

Tampa, FL - August 19, 2009 - Mr. Baldwin started his insurance career in 1980 after receiving a degree in Risk Management from Florida State University. Mr. Baldwin then joined Baldwin Italiano from 1980-1984 insuring middle market accounts. In 1984, Mr. Baldwin entered the United States Navy serving in Special Warfare Units (Navy Seals), for the next five years. He then moved from California to Phoenix, Arizona where he continued his work in the insurance brokerage community working for Alexander and Alexander until 1992 and Milne Scali's Company from 1992 until 1996. After moving back to Tampa he joined his family business, Davis Baldwin in 1996. Davis Baldwin was acquired by Wachovia in 2001. Mr. Baldwin continued with Wachovia until June 1, 2006. Given the opportunity to purchase his book of business from Wachovia, Mr. Baldwin formed Baldwin Insurance Solutions, LLC in 2006. Mr. Baldwin specializes in D&O, professional liability, mergers and acquisitions and large finite risk placements. He is licensed 2-20, Property and Casualty and Surplus Lines.

Trey is a member of Tampa Yacht and Country Club, Avila and Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club. Trey is active in several civic organizations and is a recent board member of Lowry Park Zoo and attends Bayshore Baptist Church. His other business affiliations include; Silver Ghost Restaurant Holdings, Pegasus, and Baldwin Connelly Insurance.
