Mr. Taylor comes to Athena with over two decades of experience in finance, operations, bankruptcy and foreclosures. Mr. Taylor has assisted in obtaining conventional, subordinate and equity financings approaching $250 million. Mr. Taylor most recently served as Controller of a large well known commercial and multi-family developer, in Tampa, with a $65 million portfolio, and as Finance Director of a world renowned non-profit museum in St. Petersburg. Mr. Taylor began his professional career in the banking industry where Mr. Taylor obtained extensive experience with bankruptcy, foreclosure, and loan workout proceedings, as well as interactions with bank REO and special asset divisions. Mr. Taylor also has both Consumer and Commercial lending experience. Mr. Taylor has experience in several sectors, including holding a management position at a French owned, global leader in the food processing equipment industry and as a CFO of a regional retail consumer goods distributor. Mr. Taylor has extensive experience and knowledge in mid to enterprise level integrated systems design and implementation. Mr. Taylor earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Finance from Valparaiso University and an MBA degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Tampa.
